Crown Data Hub New Requests // BAU Process Moving Forward
Hi all,
I'm just sharing with you all the BAU processes agreed so far for Account Management to use moving forward for any new Crown Data Hub client requests beyond the Crown Data Hub Project which is focused on the set up for our existing CTM clients.
This process has been split into 2 categories:
1. Existing Clients - New User Requests
2. New Client Implementation - New Data Hub Roles and User Requests
1. Existing Clients - User Amendments and New User Requests
For any new Data Hub users that need to be added for existing companies you will need to:
(@Sam and @Emily are the primary owners set up to use the app)
Step 1- Select the "New User Request" option (middle column)
Step 2 - Complete the below request fields, selecting the Data Hub company role the user needs access to, which Portal role the user needs to be set up with along with the new user's email address.
Step 3 - Submit the request, which will raise 2 tickets:
- One ticket to BSU to set up the new user with the relevant profile in the CCS Portal or edit it.
Please allow 2 working days for this request to be processed by MIS.
2. New Client Implementation - New Data Hub Roles and User Requests
As part of the client implementation process of gathering the requirements for the new client, where Data Hub app set up is required, a new Service Request form will need to be completed for MIS to request the new Data Hub role(s) to be set up for that new company along with assigning their users with access to the tool.
- Step 1 - Ensure the company has been set up with a profile in Dynamics first, in the structure you wish for them to access their data i.e. with correct account codes, correct naming convention, connected to relevant parent accounts, the correct FY start month.
Step 2 - Raise a Service Request form to MIS which will generate a new ticket (this form is being finalised with MIS and I will share the link with you shortly) detailing in the form fields, the requirements for the Data Hub role(s) that need to be set up for the company, any UDID requirements and the list of authorised users.
Please allow 10 working days for this request to be processed by MIS and factor this in to the client's implementation timeline.
