Data Release Authority (DRA) - Transfer/Export of data to a Third Party
What is a DRA?
A DRA (Data Release Authority) is a document that serves as consent in writing to release the legal liability of a releasee by a releasor. The document is a formal acknowledgment that, once signed, is a legal release of all a releasee obligations within an agreement.
When would a DRA be required?
When a request is made for CTM client data to be transferred/passed to another company or TMC. For example if a client engages with a safety and security company such as iSOS, or Global Guardian, or we are supporting a client who is lead from another TMC in another region and the customer would like that TMC to consolidate our data to their overall reports.
