Bradford Printer Setup
Adding Printer to users set:
We have new printers set up in Bradford, the first thing you need to do is Shutdown your PC/Laptop and login back in as normal. (This step is important)
Then press the “Windows” key and type in “Settings” and press enter and the following page will come up.
Once on this page go to “Devices” and another page will open up:
On the left-hand side you will get some options to choose. The one we need to click on is “Printers and Scanners”.
Once you’re on this page click on “Add a printer or scanner” and your Laptop/PC will scan for any printers or scanners within the area. The one we are searching for is called “SecurePrint on BRA-PRN-01.redferntravel.local”
Click on the printer and you will get the option to “Add Device” do this and wait for the device to connect.
Once Connected you will need to make your way to the printer.
At the printer there will be a card reader which you will need to scan your door pass onto, and it will ask for a username and password. For this you will need to enter your REDFERN network details. For example – daniyald and then my network password (password I use to log into my laptop).
Once you have done this the printer will register your account and every time you need to use the printer all you must do is scan your card onto the reader and it will log you in.
