Adding user guides and accessibility forms to lightning
Adding a new article to lightning (slightly different to the amending user guides solution)
Go to KeePass you'll find the IP address and credentials in there.
Access the IP address from a redfern device- wont work via vpn only via jumpbox-rdp or if you're in the office.
Copy and paste the credentials
Open the Document shortcut found on the desktop- highlighted
Paste the new document in there (will use the document highlighted as an example)
Then open the root folder-
Open the index.php file
Here's where you need to be very careful not to edit any existing html coding…
Look carefully for the heading of the area you need to add the guide/form to for example the CAR PARK BOOKING form needed to go under 'Help links on Main page'
So I copied the coding for the Taxi booking form and pasted underneath so the link for the car parking booking form appeared underneath it- then amended the link to the document so it would open the CAR PARK BOOKING FORM we previously pasted into the documents for site folder-
Now click File- Save then close it
Now test yourself to make sure it opens the correct file via this link- CTM (North) | User Guides (travelctm-north.co.uk)
Adding/Updating Accessibility Guides.
In order to add the Accessibility guide onto Lightening you will need to remain on the same server (192.168.22.70)
What I'm going to be showing you is changing the information within the "Accessibility" tab within Trips.
Open File Explorer an go to the following file path
Once in here you will find the file (DAC.php) and a HTML Document will open
This document is what the page on the trips website looks like and how we edit it.
As mentioned above we need to put the new data sent by the requester in "Documents"
Once this is done we rename it to the lastest version as you can see in the screenshot the 2nd newest one was called V3 so we named the newest one to V4.
After this go back to the DAC.php notepad and find where the old document was pasted into the HTML Doc as shown below.
and copy and paste the name of the v4 doc into the circle highlighted above.
FInally once this has been done scroll down and make sure the contents within the doc are updated in the DAC.php doc. 9 times out of 10 it will only be dates that need changing so compare the doc given to you by the client and whats written in the DAC.php doc as they need to be identical. See below for an example of the doc given by the requester and the DAC.php doc we are editing.
