Clear Windows credentials manager
If you have issues logging in to your office applications (Outlook, Excel, OneDrive, Teams etc)
Click on the Start button and Type Credential Manager and click Open.
Select Windows Credentials
Under Generic Credentials you will probably see a number of entries, and numerous entries for Microsoft Office. Each entry relates to the saved password for a specific application (word, excel, Teams etc) but there is no way to show which entry relates to which app.
If there are issues where you cannot launch or enter new password details for an application then all of these need to removed so that it prompts for the password to be re-entered when accessing any of the Microsoft products.
How to remove the credential manager entries
All Microsoft product entries will look similar, with a couple of exceptions, and this action will need to be done on each line.
On the right hand side of the entry you want to remove, click on the dropdown icon and then select Remove.
