CONCUR TRAVEL RELEASE HIGHLIGHTS April 2018
CTM would
like to share with you some of the forthcoming Concur updates planned for
future releases. The highlights of these are documented below. Please be aware
these are planned releases and are not guaranteed until they are live. CTM will
be testing the system on release and will share any areas that need
clarification.

User Profile - Masking
Sensitive Data
Due to increased concerns around user privacy,
SAP Concur began automatically masking – in Profile – birthdate, medical data,
passport numbers, visa numbers, frequent flyer numbers, advantage membership
numbers, redress numbers and TSA precheck numbers.
With April’s release Concur will
continue their efforts to protect user privacy by masking the information on
the shopping pages and itineraries. These actions, along with many others, assist in securing company and
user data.
Guest Travel – Remove
Previous Guest Lookup
With increased attention to security
and data privacy, Concur determined a change in the Guest Travel (non-profiled
user) feature was warranted. We will no longer support a previous guest lookup
and store data about the non-employee or previous companion. Now when making a guest (non-profiled user)
reservation, the data must be added manually.
The update ensures that all guest data is purged upon completion and is
not stored in the database.
If
it is important for your company to have recurring travel for non-employees
please Contact your Corporate Travel Management Account Manager.
